The Filter Panel provides a robust way to narrow your results by specific operational criteria under the Performance tab. This is particularly effective for high-volume orders spanning multiple locations or departments.
Core Filter Categories
- Stores (Corporate and Store Group Users only): Isolate data for specific retail locations to review local performance.
- Error Type: Drill down into specific technical issues (e.g., ESL Unreachable) to identify store-wide or hardware-specific patterns.
- Department: Focus on a particular area of the store to audit category-specific updates.
Using the Multi-Select Interface
The filter fields utilize dynamic data, ensuring you only see values currently available in your active order grid.
Search & Select: Type directly into any filter field to quickly find matching values. You can select multiple items by checking the corresponding boxes in the dropdown menu.
Pill Management: Each selection appears as a "pill" within the field. Click the "X" on any pill to remove that specific filter and uncheck it from the list.
Condensed View (+#): To keep your workspace clean, if more than three options are selected, the field will display a count (e.g., +2). Click this count pill to expand the field and scroll through all active selections.
Applying and Resetting Filters
- Apply: Once you have made your selections, click the Apply button to refresh the data grid. The panel will remain pinned to allow for further adjustments; click the "X" at the top right of the panel to close it and view the full grid.
- Clear All: To remove all active filters at once, click the Clear All button. This returns the view to the default system state.
- Dynamic Search Integration: Note that filters can be applied on top of an active search (and vice versa), allowing you to pinpoint a specific device within a filtered subset of data.
- Closing the Panel: Use the x on the top right to close the panel.
