The storeLink platform automates the delivery of dynamic updates to ensure your physical shelf edge matches your digital pricing system instantly. Price and promotional updates are event-driven, reacting in real time whenever adjustments are made to your core retail data.
System Event Processing
When a retailer initiates a price change, the ecosystem executes an automated three-step workflow to refresh the store floor:
- Event Trigger: The retailer pushes a price change or promotional event from their central ERP or inventory management system.
- Image Generation: The storeLink application intercepts this event, updates the item's pricing profile in the database, and dynamically renders a fresh, high-contrast visual display image tailored to the device's assigned template.
- Hardware Synchronization: When the price effective date is reached, the newly generated image is immediately pushed across the network to the specific Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) hardware associated with that item code, instantly reflecting the updated information to shoppers.
| 📄Pro-Tip: Tracking Update Cycles - To verify that a price change event has completed its lifecycle successfully, you can monitor the transmission state on the ESL Orders page. If a label fails to reflect a new price, look at the Transmission Timeline within the device details panel to isolate whether the hiccup occurred during the storeLink generation phase or the vendor hardware update phase. |
