If a digital shelf label is linked to the correct product but isn't showing the latest updates—or if you notice an incorrect image on the display—you can use the Refresh Link tool. This tells storeLink to immediately fetch the newest information for that item, rebuild the display image, and send the update directly to the label.
How to Force a Refresh
-
Locate the Device: Find the target hardware unit in the grid using the ESL ID. Leverage the search and the filters to locate the desired device quickly.
-
Open the Device Details Side Panel by clicking on the individual ESL record.
-
Click the Refresh Link button (indicated by the blue circular arrows icon).
System Behavior
- Instant Re-Queue: Clicking this option prompts the application to instantly fetch the most up-to-date data profile for the assigned Product ID from the database.
- Fresh Image Render: The system re-renders the visual template .
- Network Push: A brand new ESL image is sent down to the physical device, generating a new entry at the top of the Transmission Timeline log.
